Shalom!   This week's Torah portion has some very interesting commandments in it, most of which can only completely be performed in the Covenant Land of Israel. When we follow the history of the ancient Israelites, we can see that they never did follow these commandments. First we have YHWH marking off time in epochs of seven-year intervals. Kedoshim

Shalom!   Our parasha this week is about holiness. It actually begins with holiness and ends with holiness. Acharei Mot

Shalom!   We begin with a verse that hits home for us -   Vayikra/Leviticus 18:3 You must not follow/do (asah) as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you.
